Our Competencies
Our team of experts have been involved in various areas of the law here in Ghana, the USA, Canada and the UK including corporate finance and securities; real property work; mergers and acquisitions; syndicated term loans, revolving credits, and subordinated loans; equity and quasi-equity; guarantees and indemnities and divestitures/privatisations.
This work has involved contracts for major corporate finance matters, especially advising on the legal issues of proposed investments; giving legal advice on tax issues, mergers and joint ventures; representation and negotiation on behalf of the client on the terms of the contract of works; issuing legal opinions on compliance with applicable laws and regulations; working with officers in relevant government agencies to secure applicable consents and approvals; and regulatory compliance.
