After being called to the Ghana Bar in 1999, J. Orleans-Lindsay had scholarship to study for his Masters in Law in the Case Western Law School in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He graduated with first class Honours whilst working as a Research Assistant and Law Library Aide in the same university. He subsequently worked as a Legal Counsel at the Lubrizol Corporation in Wickliffe, Ohio the largest Oil Additive Corporation in the world where he was involved in major trans-national, multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions and oil transactions. He also gained rich experience in corporate law and practice.
He is on staff as an Adjunct Professor of law at the Phoenix University, the largest online University in the World. He also worked for the Lex Mater Law Consultancy in Virginia, USA as President before joining JLD and MB Legal Consultancy in Ghana, where he was mainly in charge of its litigation and corporate transactions. He taught Labour Law at Ghana’s only Law School and Company Law at the KAAF University College Law Faculty. He is currently the General Counsel in the largest non-banking financial institution in Ghana with over twenty(20) years’ experience in law practice with a bias for Corporate and Investment Law.
